When someone isn’t performing at the level you believe is possible for them, you’ll often find that an initial conversation to help them get back on track is necessary. Often as a leader, you may start to look for results soon after your conversation about someone’s performance.
You can have your best conversation while helping someone improve their performance. Consider your own perspective about someone’s performance, then make an effort to learn about their theirs.
