Creating Work/Life Harmony in Your World

Balance implies that things are equal or distributed evenly or weigh the same and no matter how hard most people try, they rarely get their work time and their non work time to balance. It’s just never going to be equal. We are almost always going to be spending more time working than we are doing other things outside of work, at least during our non retirement years.
So we want to start a process of organizing harmony instead of balance by capturing our thoughts around what are the things we want out of life in the first place. It’s helpful to make a list of things that matter to you in life. We are not talking on this list about things we have, as in material things we acquire, but for this exercise, we are talking more about things we experience or feelings we have.

I’ve had the privilege of coaching hundreds of leaders in all kinds of different businesses. Every day I get to help leaders and organizations create their best future. I also led my own teams in the corporate world for decades and I know how hard leadership can be. I am still learning every day but after conducting over 5,000 executive coaching conversations, I want to share the insights and tools that I know work for great leaders. Leadership is not a gift, it’s a set of thoughts we create, actions we take and habits we build to get consistently better results.
